Nursery

Our wonderful Nursery at St. Cuthbert’s provides a happy, caring and nurturing environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. We believe that the early years should be filled with curiosity, creativity and fun, and our children learn through a rich range of play-based, practical and engaging experiences both indoors and outdoors.

Our dedicated staff take time to get to know each child as an individual, helping them to grow in confidence, develop independence, build friendships and become enthusiastic learners. As part of our St. Cuthbert’s family, our Nursery children are fully involved in the life of the school and are supported to “Live, love and learn and let the light of Jesus shine.”

Our Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.45am until 3.15pm during term time. We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded places for eligible children, with families able to choose sessions to suit their entitlement and needs. Parents and carers can also purchase additional Nursery hours, subject to availability.

We work closely with parents and carers from the very beginning, ensuring that children settle happily into Nursery and have the very best possible start to their journey at St. Cuthbert’s.
